City facilities CFDs (FY2026-27 levy)

Levied by City of Jurupa Valley, acting as the legislative body of each Community Facilities District on new development in Jurupa Valley. Authorized under the Mello-Roos Community Facilities Act - Gov. Code Sec. 53311 et seq. Collected other: annually, as an installment entered on the County of Riverside assessment roll (collected with property taxes); not at building permit.

Not priced for this house. This charge is real, adopted and collected, and it is left out of Jurupa Valley's figure for one reason: it is levied per DU/yr, and a typical home does not fix that quantity. That is not the same as a zero. The fee is owed; what is missing is the number to multiply by, and inventing one would price this house with more confidence and less truth. What it pays for

“Section 4 The proceeds of the special tax levy shall be used to pay, in whole or in part, the costs for the following items: A. The maintenance of streets, traffic control, landscape and all landscaping materials such as turf, ground cover, shrub, trees, plants, irrigation and drainage systems, weed control and other abatements, sidewalks, monuments, lights, electricity, and related repair, replacement and inspection; B. The maintenance and inspections of storm drains, water quality basins, open space areas, and any other NPDES/WQMP/BMP related devices; C. All other services necessary or useful for, or in connection with, the authorized Services listed above, including building a reserve fund for replacement. The proceeds of the special tax levy shall be used as set forth above, and shall not be used for any other purpose.”

“Section 6 The County Auditor-Controller shall, at the close of the tax collection period, promptly render the CFD a detailed report showing the amounts of the special tax installments, penalties, interest and fees collected and from which properties they have been collected. Any expenses to be paid to the Auditor-Controller for carrying out the foregoing responsibilities shall be in accordance with a contract entered into between the CFD and Auditor, pursuant to Section 29304 of the Government Code.”
